Some days I don’t feel like climbing a mountain. Some days I just want to go back to bed. And stay there. But then…there’s this little Voice inside that gently tells me it’s time. To get up. To get going. To do the things I know I need to do. So…I start moving.
This time of transition may be longer than I thought. But I am convinced that no matter its length, God is longer!
The Word says it is God who is at work in me to give me the desire to do what I know is right. He gives me the desire! I don’t have to conjure up some lame purpose for the day. He already has the day’s agenda and is eagerly waiting for me to join Him! He encourages me to get up. Read His word. Face the day. He takes the lead…all I have to do is follow.
God doesn’t play games with people. He loves people and wants the very best for each person. He doesn’t hide His will from us. He is doing everything He can to show it to us!
I will continue this job search because He brought me to this place to move me to another place. He already knows where that will be…and when He’s ready, He will let me know. Until then, it’s one day at a time. I may not know what to do right now, but my eyes are on Him!
2 Chronicles 20:12, “… nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”
