Michele Bachmann has recently recieved a great deal of undeserved criticism over something she said that deals with the spiritual world around us.
After making a few comments about the current U.S./Iran nuclear “negotiations”, she also said that (1) God is judging the United States for our culture’s acceptance of gay marriage along with embracing the horrific act of abortions, and (2) going against the will and word of God will hasten the second return of Jesus. We may very well see His return within our lifetimes. What thinking Christian could not seriously consider these things?
Ms. Bachmann received Christ when she was sixteen years old and has since married a man who practices Christian counseling in Minnesota where they are raising their five children. She is not perfect but she is re-born.
In a day when Christian principles are being trampled in America as God is pushed out of schools, court houses and public places, it is encouraging to hear from a person of high profile vocalize the realities of God’s Word.
Most of our country and national leaders are living in the “here and now” with little, if any, regard for the next million years. Michele Bachmann should be thanked for encouraging us see our world as viewed by the Almighty.
I wonder how the people in Noah’s day felt about the “crazy” proclamations made about a coming flood? Sort of makes you think about America today.
