Thanks to everyone for your prayers, tips and suggestions concerning my recently diagnosed Meniere’s Disease. I am encouraged!
Through all the hearing issues I have dealt with over the past months, God has taught me much about listening. There is a big difference between hearing and listening.
When it comes to listening for God’s voice I must remember that He does not always speak through the BIG happenings…but sometimes He clearly speaks through gentle promptings. Elijah learned this in 1 Kings 19. (After the wind, earthquake and fire.)
Once hearing from God, I can move forward with confidence. My trust is in HIM.
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord our God!” Psalm 20:7
I am very grateful that He is alive today and still speaks to His people…even those with inner ear issues!
Praying for you my dear friend. I often think of you both. Would love to visit with you if we should ever venture up that way. 😊
