I have grown to love the forty-sixth chapter of Isaiah.
It speaks of God’s faithfulness even in my graying years. Check out verse 4:
“Even to your old age I will be the same,
And even to your graying years I will bear you!
I have done it, and I will carry you;
And I will bear you and I will deliver you.”
The wonderful God that I serve today is the same God that reached out to save me as a nine year old boy in Ft. Worth, Texas. He has not changed…ever! Though my life will change (and HAS changed a lot!) my God never does.
Not only has He been faithful to me in the past, He will continue to be faithful in the years ahead.
The older I get, the more I appreciate things that are constant – not changing. Though I don’t consider myself to be old 🙂 I am getting older and God is my constant Guide, Strength, Provider and Everything.
It’s nice to know that some things never change.
