One year ago today I had the privilege of starting work at Regent University.
After a couple of weeks of training, I was on my way to meeting people over the phone and in person who were looking for their educational path.
Regent is not a good fit for everyone but it is a good fit for a lot of people.
Everyone has a story. And every story is different. Only God could add Regent to my story and put me in this place to hear from so many others in whom God is at work.
Although Regent is an outstanding Christian university, not everyone who studies at Regent is a believer. One doesn’t have to be a Christian to attend school here but MUST be a Christian to teach here. So I have the opportunity to speak with prospects about Christ and His plan for their lives. Sometimes I get to pray with callers. It truly is a point of ministry – not just a job.
I am still under the umbrella of my calling that happened back in 1971: encourage believers in their worship and pursuit of our great and glorious God!
