From the office window at my desk, I have a great view of the Regent campus and enjoy watching people as they move across the grounds to their appointments.
I have counted at least a dozen means of transportation as folks navigate down the sidewalks. I have seen skateboards, bicycles, unicycles, golf carts, baby strollers and, of course, walkers.
Though there are various types of transportation, each person shares a common bond: to get to their destination.
In the Christian community there is a similar scene.
Christian denominations may have different “means of travel” for their spiritual growth and worship, but each shares a common bond: Jesus Christ. And their destination is Heaven!
Since coming to Regent I have had a growing appreciation for true Christian denominations where people have a genuine love for the Lord and a great desire to know Him. We may disagree on some things along the way but one thing is for sure: Christ is the source of salvation and we will one day live with Him forever!
