I am not a political activist.
I have never distributed political literature.
I have never “evangelized” for a particular candidate and mostly have been reluctant to express my political views.
However, this presidential election is different.
For those of us who love our country and care about Biblical values, only one candidate promises to:
- Fight to save the lives of innocent unborn children.
- Pledge to appoint judges who hold conservative values to vacancies on the U.S. Supreme Court.
- Defend the freedom of the church and protect the practice of personal Christianity.
- Preserve the sacred institution of marriage as between one man and one woman.
- Uphold our nation’s constitution as written by our founders under the leadership of our Creator.
These are 5 pillars upon which our nation stands. Everything else is preference. But if we allow these pillars to fall we will see America crumble into unrecognizable obscurity.
On November 8, vote. Yes! But first pray for God’s direction in determining which candidate would come closest to supporting the tenets of His Word.
If writing this post is considered political activism, so be it.
