Sting ’em, Jackets!

hpuKatha and I recently attended Homecoming at our alma mater in Brownwood, Texas. Howard Payne University was not, is not and never will be a large school. With a steady enrollment of 1,000 – 1,400 students, the size is part of her charm.

After returning to HPU after forty years, we noticed an amazing thing. All of our classmates looked older and the current students looked like kids! The passing of time sure changes our perspectives!

In heaven, there will be no time thus no aging and no painful arthritis and no memory loss and… (You get the picture.)

In heaven, everything will be perfect and we won’t be wondering if people notice our hair loss, weight gain or question our financial status. One day it won’t matter who was elected President of the United States in 2016.

Our full attention will be given to our Savior, Jesus Christ, giving Him continuous praise for who He is and what He has done. Just make sure that you RSVP to His incredible invitation before it’s too late.

As the song says,
“What a day, glorious  day that will be!”
