How to handle a difficult encounter?

I hate to ask forgiveness.

However, sometimes it is necessary…and I will do it out of obedience…but it is not an enjoyable thing to do.

I would much rather treat others in a Christ-like way and let Him work in the relationships than force my way upon someone else and say/do something that I will live to regret.

But how does one treat others in a Christ-like way?

God gave us some very practical direction when it comes to our attitude toward others – even in difficult situations. In Micah 6:8 He says that he expects His child to have an attitude that is (1) fair, (2) kind and (3) humble. As long as I keep these three traits He will bless the relationships/contacts along the way of life.

It’s amazing how He can work through a believer who allows His Spirit to work through these three attitudes toward others!
