When it comes to navigating a trip, I am old school. I would rather use a map than GPS.
Katha and I will soon make a trip to Pennsylvania to see our son and his family. There is no easy way to get from here to there.
I depend on a map for the big picture of the trip…but I confess that the GPS is very helpful on the real time routing. I appreciate both.
On my journey through life, I depend on divine navigation. God’s Word gives me the big picture of the journey. One of my favorite Bible verses is Psalm 25: 4…
“Show me your ways , Lord, teach me your paths.”
And for real time routing I depend on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He is faithful to lead me in the right direction.
The GPS also give me an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival). Only God knows my ETA for heaven!
