Today was the party of my grandson’s first birthday. His name is Arrow Isaiah Day Hughes. I am so sorry we could not join them in Pennsylvania for all the fun and celebration…but the Instagram photos/videos reveal it to have been a great success in celebrating little Arrow’s big milestone…complete with cake, frosting, family and friends.
I am very proud of Arrow’s parents.
Caleb is a winsome young dad with a fun, creative spirit balanced with a strong spiritual sensitivity. He is artistic director for Piercing Word ministries which has as its mission to ignite passion for the Word of God in the heart of the church.
Arrow’s mom, Rachel, also has a God-given talent in creative arts and does an incredible job in her roles as an actor with Sight & Sound Theatre. She acts, paints, creates and was the executive producer of Arrow’s first birthday bash.
Arrow is surrounded by a wonderful crowd of believers from the various circles of his life. No doubt, God has an exciting journey ahead of him.
When I look at Arrow, I see a delightful 1 year old boy who is on the verge of walking/running. When God looks at Arrow, He sees a man of wisdom and character that He wants to use to touch many lives along his path. It will be a great blessing to watch him grow.
Happy Birthday, Arrow! Your Gramps loves you!
