In mid air!

Ever jumped off a cliff? I feel like I just have..and want to share that experience with you in the days to come. What’s below? How will the “landing” be? Will it hurt?
I just left one job to go to another but I don’t know where that will be…yet. Thus the “jumping off a cliff” feeling. People think I’m crazy for resigning my job and selling my house without having someplace to go.

As a believer, I fully trust God for the landing but sometimes the anxiety gets to me. God has been faithful to provide all my needs for all my life (62 years) and I know He will continue…but what do I do in the meantime? Never been here before.

It really is a privilege to be jobless and houseless and have only a faithful God to rely on. I have learned it is an act of worship to put all one’s trust on Him. So worship is not just something that Christians do on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am? Worship is doing anything that pleases Him. Oh, worship is to be a lifestyle. I get it! Everything we do all through the day can be an act of worship. And for me – now – waiting on God to show me the next move for my life can be an act of worship!

Well, here we go! Thanks for joining me on this new adventure. Let’s see where it takes us!

  1. Let’s go! “And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16

  2. I don’t think there’s anything scarier AND more thrilling than jumping off the cliff, head up, eyes closed, arms wide open, jumping into the dark, into the unknown, without any hesitation and FULL realization that our sweet Savior is bringing the Light and will catch us in His waiting arms. So excited for you and with you to see where you land!! Thanks for sharing the journey with us!

  3. I continue to pray for you and Katha and admire you so much for “letting go” and letting God have His wonderful way (remember the song?)
