Worst of Times, Best of Times

There is a great contrast between Psalms 22 and 23. Psalm 22 is an incredible foreshadowing of the darkest of times, the CROSS. Psalm 23 follows it with joyful confidence trusting the Lord as Shepherd.

Going through a transition, change, can take one through similar twists and turns. One day is terrible – the next wonderful – the next blah – the next joyful – etc.

But through it all, God is there.

In this world of undependable circumstances, I can trust – check that: KNOW – that God is with me and in control. His Word clearly teaches that.

I love roller coasters at theme parks. Roller coasters in life’s journey not so much. But that’s OK…my focus is not on the events but on the event Planner.

Wonder where He will take me today?
