Purpose restated

After being in the music ministry of local churches for over forty years I stepped away from that career last summer, 2014, to enter a new adventure with the Lord.

GrampsIn His goodness, the Lord led Katha and me to Virginia Beach, VA, to be near (real near – as in living under the same roof!) as our daughter, Hannah, and her sweet family. He also graciously opened an opportunity for me to work with some amazing people in the enrollment management department of Regent University.

God is good!

There were a number of people from days past who wanted to keep up with our happenings. So I thought, “What’s the best way to communicate with people to let them know how things are going in our transition? I know – I’ll start a blog!” Having never before done blogging and totally ignorant of the process, I set out to be a blogger. With help from the good people at WordPress, the blogging adventure was underway!

These posts are intentionally short and have to do with my personal journey through these days. I invite you to join me along the way by clicking the “Following” button on the right side.

Otherwise, have a blessed day and please pray for me. I really need it!

  1. Hey Craig, still reading, trying to stay ‘caught up’ in your life adventures…. I know you are trusting God to give you direction and Purpose….. I can’t imagine the struggle yet … I am sure I will have uncertainty coming soon in my life as well….. I miss you and Katha I praise God that your hearing situation was figured out hoping it gets better…. Just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you. -just me.
