Kid’s Prayer

“God is great,child praying
God is good.
Let us thank Him
for our food.
Amen”

Have you ever thought about how profound this simple prayer is that many children recite at the dinner table each day?

It offers both praise and thanks to the Creator.

I have often thought that we praise God for who He is and we thank God for what He has done. Of course, there are exceptions but this is generally true.

And what better time to learn of God’s greatness and goodness than as a young child!?

Through the years I have enjoyed serving local churches in the areas of music and worship. It has been a great ride! Currently, I have the privilege of serving with the good people of West Hampton Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia. It is a terrific church family where God is doing a unique and powerful work.
