Over the weekend I went through the process for the first time of posting a video to YouTube. I have to admit it is kinda cool seeing my post up there with such names as Lady Gaga, Downton Abby characters and The Wonky Donkey.
But it is also kinda scary. I understand that postings to Internet sites are there forever. Even though they can be “removed”, geeks, nerds and techies can retrieve the data years later.
It makes me think of the “videos” of our lives that we will see in heaven. When I first heard of the heavenly videos that are to come, I wondered, “How is that even possible?” Now, I know that if man can create digital photos/videos that have a permanent presence how difficult is it for Almighty Everlasting Creator God to have recordings of our lives to show us the good, bad and ugly that will precede the rewards we deserve.
When creating a video, re-takes are common place and expected. Once we get to heaven, those videos are unchangeable.
The times when I must be on my guard against embarrassing and shameful “videos” that will be seen by my heavenly Father follow the acrostic HALT. I must be especially careful at times when I am HUNGRY, ANGRY, LONELY or TIRED.
I’ve only got one take. And want to make it a good one.
This was great Craig. I have often wondered if we might be able to see movies of happy times when we get to heaven. We can sit and watch them with our family and with Jesus. I get your point in this message as well. Really makes a person think. Thanks!

Diane, thanks for your comment! As a “visual learner”, sometimes God uses the lessons in this life to help me see Him more clearly.
